Startup Equity Partners has entered the Wedding & Event industry by investing an undisclosed amount in WedWise.

Started in May 2015 and based out of New Delhi, WedWise, envisions to revolutionize the way weddings are planned in India.

This community driven startup connects buyers and Wedding professionals by the means of India's fastest growing online wedding community. WedWise gives wedding professionals of all scales and experience, a chance to showcase their work and grow in a market otherwise captured by a few large players. With a scale amounting to $40 Billion, the Wedding Industry in India is one of the most flourishing sectors in the world.

WedWise community doubles up as a hub for to-be-weds and their families to receive real-time recommendations to their queries and helping them find just the right vendor who'd turn that dream wedding into a reality. The fast growing team at WedWise is led by Ginny Kohli (Founder & CEO) who holds a bachelor’s Degree in Electronic & Computer Engineering from Aston University, United Kingdom and majored in Marketing & Finance (MBA) from Infinity Business School. Prior to WedWise, Ginny worked as a Corporate Manager in Groupon India
